The Third Sector Development Fund for 2011/12 has now closed.
Applicants will be informed whether or not their bids have succeeded by early July 2011. The fund is administered by Estyn Llaw and funded by the Welsh Language Board. Details regarding the 2012/13 Development Fund will appear here.
The Fund was originally set up to encourage and enable third sector organisations to implement new initiatives in order to develop good practice in bilingualism, biculturalism and the use of the Welsh language.
Once more we will be looking for initiatives that will,
• increase participation by Welsh speakers; • enhance the quality of services available to Welsh speakers; • enrich the dignity of service users; • recruit Welsh speaking volunteers; • foster cultural understanding; • develop advisory services to address points of crisis and stress.
